
JEAN-GUILLAUME GRAND

Jean-Guillaume Grand is a European board-certified veterinary orthopedic surgeon. He graduated from the University of Liège (Belgium) in 2004, where he also completed a rotating internship, before undertaking a surgical fellowship at the National Veterinary School of Nantes (France).
He then completed a three-year residency at Alliance Veterinary Clinic in Bordeaux (France) and obtained his ECVS diploma in 2012. He subsequently held an academic position as Assistant Professor in Surgery at University College Dublin (Ireland) and later as senior orthopedic surgeon at Veterinary Specialist UK.
From 2015 to 2024, he practiced at Aquivet Veterinary Hospital (France). In 2025, he founded VSI, a referral practice dedicated exclusively to veterinary orthopaedics and works as an independent specialist while also consulting at Vétélys in Geneva, Switzerland. His clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery (arthroscopy and fracture repair) and deformity correction using 3D technologies. He is actively involved in teaching and serves as faculty for international programs including ESVOT and AO VET.
