Alexandre Caron graduated from Nantes Veterinary University in 2008. Following an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Maisons-Alfort Veterinary University, he spent a year at Nantes veterinary university as a surgery and anaesthesia fellow.

In order to discover other ways of practicing, he then decided to move to United Kingdom and discovered specialized practice in Orthopeadics and Neurosurgery with Noel Fitzpatrick and his team near London (Fitzpatrick Referrals Ltd. - Godalming – Surrey).

Still around London city, he spent 3 years completing a European residency in small animal surgery (ECVS-approved) under the supervision of Mike Farrell at Fitzpatrick Referrals Ltd. (Orthopaedics and neurosurgery) and Laurent Findji at the VRCC Ltd., a practice specialized in oncology. He passed his ECVS board examinations in February 2015 to gain the title of European specialist in small animal specialist (ECVS Diplomate).

After a few years in a large veterinary hospital in Nantes – France, Alexandre Caron is now in charge of the development of a multidisciplinary referral hospital in Rennes - Brittany - France in which he only practices orthopaedics surgery. He particularly enjoys minimally-invasive surgery and more precisely arthroscopy.
